  • Those who follow the British Royal family should recognize this one. The fascinating piece is none other than the Meander tiara.
The design elements of the tiara incorporate the Greek Key pattern which features a large brilliant-cut diamond in the center surrounded by a diamond wreath. Additionally, the sides of the tiara include a central wreath of leaves and scrolls on either side.

This brilliant tiara was a wedding gift to Princess Elizabeth from her mother-in-law Princess Andrew of Greece and Denmark. In 1972, the tiara was given to Princess Anne, who has frequently worn it public, including her wedding to Mark Phillips and for her 50th official birthday portrait. As customary in royalty, this tiara was lent to Anne's daughter, Zara Phillips which she wore for her wedding to Mike Tindall in 2011.
