The Braganza Tiara Replica

Our newest royal replica, The Brangaza Tiara was first made in 18th century France and used diamonds belonged to the Brazilian Imperial Family. This grand and ornate tiara is comprised of arabesques, flowers, and leaves that are designed in hundreds of diamonds and mounted in gold and silver. The tiara is about 5 inches tall and weighs between 2.2 to 6.6 pounds. Emperor Pedro I had this tiara created for Empress Amélie of Brazil (hence the name "Brazilian") as a gift for her wedding. After Princess Amélie's death in 1873, the tiara was bequeathed to her sister Queen Josephine of Sweden and it has remained with her ever since. Unlike other family jewels, used by a wide variety of Swedish royal ladies, the Braganza is exclusively worn by Sweden’s Queen.
